Menopause: why does it weight?

Between 20 and 50 years, a woman takes an average of 11 pounds. But many women find menopause and more a problem of sudden weight gain and sometimes difficult to control. The balance tips the wrong way when they have not changed their diet.

The pounds that appear do not install the same places depending on age. Before age 40, weight gain are mainly the lower body, thighs and buttocks. From menopause, the pounds also settled in the abdomen, around the waist.
Given the current life expectancy, women live 30 years after menopause. To feel good about your body over the years to come, so be careful.
