The word shock generally describes that, the powerful reaction to a stressful situation. Medically, shock is defined as where the tissues in the body does not receive enormous amount of oxygen and nutrition to allow the cells in the body to function. Shock will severely affects the human health and it may cause human death in severe cases. Most of the persons lose his voice due to shock attack. It also leads to cellular death and affect our brain too. Oxygen and glucose are the main elements to function a human body. If heavy shock caused by a certain incident means, the cells are deprived of oxygen and cells uses the anaerobic pathway to produce the energy. Anaerobic is a way to create energy without oxygen. This method will produce the lactic acids. This acid changes the acid-base balance and it emits the toxic chemicals in to the blood streams. It causes the damage of blood vessels. And, if enough cells are dying it leads to fail of the organ; finally, it leads to death. The pericardial liquid is helpful for maintaining the sufficient amount of oxygen and maintains the heart rate of normal condition during shock period.
